One evening at a cash table I was about to relieve a dealer who was a temp tournament new hire, when I noticed him struggling with tears in his eyes. He had made a few major mistakes and the players were very vocal with their displeasure. I knew if I could just chat with him and show him a few tips he could avoid intense situations like that, however he was too broken and never returned.
It was then that I realized I was going to dedicate my life to empowering poker dealers and help them perform at their highest level.
